Conference Objective

To aim for lifestyle modification is to prevent an increases in the incidence and severity of lifestyle related diseases is the focus of "To stretch our healthy life expectancy" which is in line with the goal stated in Health Japan 21 (second term). If healthy life expectancy does not keep up with the gains in life expectancy, prolonged unhealthy periods of life can be expected in the future. Therefore delaying the onset of unhealthy periods of life can lead to prevention of declines in the quality of life and can also ligh
ten the associated social burdens.
Therefore in the 7th International Conference on Nutrition and Aging, "To stretch our healthy life expectancy" will be the main theme, and "Traditional Japanese cuisine", "Optimization of Nutritional Status", "Diet and Cranial Nerve Function", "Research Perspective of Intestinal Microorganism", "Physical Activity and Nutrition" will be the areas discussed by leading scientists from industry, government, and academia.
There will also be poster presentations and displays from industry. This provides a good opportunity for young researchers to make presentations and promote their continuing research and interest.
